#145
On Saturday morning I sent out my second report:
Joe is comfortably resting and enjoying all the attractive nurses tending to him. This is the Sacred Heart Hospital near Destin on the Emerald Coast at Miramar Beach. Our greatest prayer is that this hospital will keep Joe and do the operations or treatment he might require here. This is a fabulous place with awesome doctors I am told.
The blood clots make it precarious for Joe to travel so we hope he can get treated here. We certainly have the time to stay here for however long it takes.
On Monday Joe will have biopsies on his liver and pancreas, from there we will know more. What we do know is that he is in a great hospital which is a non profit and it's very first mission statement is to serve the poor. So we qualify there.
I think it was another rather miraculous event that we got to wind up here. It was overwhelming to see so many emails from all of you with thoughts and prayers. It means so much.
I didn't handle this well at first, it was so hard for it all to sink in. But we have retreated and regrouped and we are ready to fight and go the distance.
Love and peace, Beatlick Pamela

Almost immediately there were over 30 return messages and two and maybe three prayer lines already in place.
